7 Day Kickstart Exercise Challenge Day 7

Welcome to the last day of your 7-Day Exercise Challenge. If you’ve made it this far, good for you!

Making these kinds of healthy choices all day isn’t easy, is it? And we aren’t always perfect, so even if you missed some of the challenges, that’s okay. It happens and all we can do is move forward.

Today’s challenges are all easy, including the workout which is all about stretching. This is kind of how I structure my week in general. I’m always more motivated and energetic on Day 1 – by Day 7 I’m losing it a little.

It’s okay take it easy as your energy wanes.

Think about some way you could reward yourself for getting through the challenge? A massage maybe? Or a night out? Maybe just a quiet afternoon reading a book…pick something you enjoy and do it.

Don’t forget to fill out your Daily Checklist.

Your Active Challenge

We’re keeping it simple today: Accumulate just 10 minutes of walking throughout the day.

Your Exercise Challenge

Again – Simple. Do some stretches and enjoy.

7 Day Kickstart Exercise Challenge Day 7 – Stretch

Your Flexibility Challenge

You only have one simple exercise today and it’s great for your back.

Sit tall in a chair and gently rotate to the right, keeping the hips square. Grab onto the chair to ease into the stretch and hold for 30 seconds before switching sides.

Your Nutrition Challenge

Pick your favorite food.

We all have a desert-island food, the thing we’d take with us should we ever find ourselves on an island. What’s yours?

Pick one and then eat some of it. Enjoy every single bite because nutrition isn’t just about eating green stuff all the time. It’s also about enjoying life and you need more than green to enjoy life.

Your Mind/Body Challenge

One-Minute Vacation

Find a quiet moment and close your eyes. Picture your favorite place in the world…like mine would be a beach in Maui.

Think about your favorite place – The colors, the sounds, the smells. Breathe it in and soak yourself in your fantasy land for at least one minute.
