7 Day Kickstart Exercise Challenge Day 6

Welcome to Day 6 of your exercise challenge. You’re just one day away from success!

So, today I’ve tried to make the challenges simple because the workout is a little more involved than previous workouts.

It’s a circuit workout that includes many of the exercises you’ve already done, but it mixes up cardio, upper body, lower body and core.

Let’s get to it!

Don’t forget to fill out your Daily Checklist.

Your Active Challenge

4 moves to do while you watch TV

I’m a major TV-watcher and I have to watch myself because, if I don’t, I could become the size of my own couch.

To avoid that, it’s a great idea to do some simple exercises while you’re watching TV. Do these stretches one after the other, holding for about 15 seconds. Repeat every hour.

Modified Triangle

Calf Stretch

Hamstring Stretch

Spine Stretch

Your Exercise Challenge

Today’s workout takes many of the moves you’ve done and puts them all together in a fast-paced, total body workout. Complete as many circuits as you can.

Your Flexibility Challenge

Since you have some stretching to do tonight, you just have one exercise. The pelvic tilt. Lie on the floor with bent knees and slowly rock your hips back, arching the back, and then forward, rounding through the back.

Feel a nice release in your lower back.

Your Nutrition Challenge

Eat your veggies first.

Today’s challenge is easy, providing that you’re already eating some vegetables. If you’re not, then you need to find some because your goal is to eat your veggies before you eat anything else on your plate.

Filling up on the good stuff means less eating of the bad stuff.

Your Mind/Body Challenge

Deep Breathing

Stress is something we all experience and one of the simplest ways to deal with it is to breathe.

Today I want you to set a timer to go off every hour. When the timer goes off, close your eyes and take three deep breaths. Do this all day.
